My room was spacious and clean. Location is pretty close to the centre of town. Receptionist was polite enough however it would be better if she was friendlier.

My only tip is to avoid it. There are plenty of other places. From the second we received rude service at check-in to the moment I woke up two hours early just to get out of that room, I hated it.

The entire property is tired and in need of refurbishment. We had a 1 bedroom unit which was the decor of early 1970s. We fan heaters were noisy, lock broken on the bathroom window, leaving the room not secured. The bedroom has no window or ventilation. The wi-fi internet proved problematic and required ongoing assistance from the manager. Upon our return from our day out at Milford Sound, we found our room hadn't been made up and when the manager was contacted she said "oh I forgot to go upstairs today". While we were able to get replacement towels, it seemed a bother to get the rubbish removed and nothing else was done. Given the numerous other properties at a comparable price, this property should be by passed.
