good hotel in nice area.Clean hotel with laundry and nice surprise was free internet on public areas. Good choice!

After reading many reviews of this accommodation, I thought I was going to get a shock. Well, there's nothing wrong with this place. Sure, the room we had which was a standard room had 80's style furnishings, but it was clean and quite roomy. The place is located right in the heart of town, the service from reception was fine and the bar staff were informative too. To all those who write negative reviews on this place, think twice for what you pay for and be true to what you get. Thanks Te Anau. A great time.

We don't have any complaints with our stay here. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel was clean, and our standard room, though nothing special, was clean & comfortable. It was nice to have a laundry room on site, as well as wi-fi in the lobby area..The location was perfect, so close to the restaurants and stores in town. We did not use the restaurant or bar that was located on the property so I cannot comment on that. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Luxmore for 2 nights on a tour of the South Island. Its a large hotel and the room decor is dated but at the price it was value for money. Its right on the main road but our room was quiet and spacious, and it was nice to have a room with a bath. The bed was comfortable as well.
