beautiful apartments, great view, walking distance to town centre. well equiped with necessities and extra's. would highly recomend staying there to anyone five star

Arrived to find appartment clean and tidy with great view of the lake. Had a small 'moment' over there only being 1 en-suite bedroom (2 would be better). Appartment nice and clean although recycling from previous tenant still in place.
About 10 mins walk at most from QT and far enough away to get a nice quiet nights sleep. Internet access available but slow. All in all a great place to spend a few nights and would return again.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment with partial view of the lake. The apartment is very modern, nicely kept and good amenities overall. Definitely to be considered but keep the following in mind:
* Only the front two apartments have views of the lake from the bedrooms. The other apartments only have views from the living room and limited/no view from the bedrooms
* The rooms are very small - the master bedroom and the second bedroom are borderline ok but the third one is tiny
* The location is very close to the center of town but up quite a steep hill (as others have noted) and definitely not suitable for families with small chidren (unless you have a car)
* The entertainment system (as others have noted) is super complicated. Should only be a minor bother
* No on-site staff could be a problem for some, although they were generally helpful on the phone

Could be a good stay, and reasonably priced, but I would keep these points in mind

We stayed at Lake Ridge Condos for a week with two young children age 9 and 7 in January 2011. Prior to our arrival, all correspondence via email was professional, efficient, and correct ! We arrived to a clean apartment that was perfectly set up and close to everything we wanted. The walk into town was 5 minutes down the hill and slightly longer up the hill ! The view from the balcony was spectacular and waking up to the sight of the Remarkables was truly amazing. We would definitely recommend this apartment to any family - perhaps those less able would find the stairs and the hill a challenge but otherwise it was perfect and we hope to come back in the ski season.
