“Totally fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed at Queenstown Park Hotel last night (with the booking made with very little notice) and Donna and John were just totally and completely fantastic. Started with a glass of beautiful wine, fabulous room, hosts, service and experience. Stunning interiors, great attention to detail, gorgeous bag of fudge in the room, incredibly close to town but feels as if you're away from it with the park outlook. Donna and John were just incredible hosts. Best hotel experience ever from seasoned travelers. Could not recommend more highly - totally loved our stay and will not stay anywhere else in Queenstown. Fabulous! Could not recommend more highly. Many many thanks!

“Well worth a stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

John and Donna run a wonderful hotel. They and their staff are absolutely dedicated to ensuring you are comfortable and happy. Seldom have I seen such a strong work ethic. My wife, baby and I had a lovely stay here and recommend it without hesitation. Oh, by the way, the free breakfast is great!!!!!

“Beautiful modern hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We recently stayed at the Queenstown Park Hotel for a short 3 day Honeymoon after our wedding in Wanaka.

We stayed in a Remarkables Room which was very spacious, with a huge bathroom, and even a small kitchenette which we weren't expecting in this style of hotel. We loved the open plan style of the room, with just a glass wall dividing the bathroom and the bedroom. If you're looking for privacy in your bedroom, this hotel probably isn't the place to look, but for a couple on Honeymoon it was absolutely perfect.
The beds were amazing, I don't think I've ever slept so well in my life. With being able to choose our own pillow from the pillow menu, I don't think we could have been any more comfortable.
The only downside is that the rooms do look over the rugby field, however you can see the Remarkables in the distance.

The staff were all extremely helpful and more than happy to make dinner reservations, golf bookings and organise everything else we wanted to do while we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the staff while enjoying pre-dinner drinks and canapes every evening. It was the perfect way to relax before heading out to one of Queenstown's fantastic restaurants.

Breakfast was amazing, probably the most gourmet breakfast I've ever had at a hotel before. Ruigi was lovely and just made our mornings, chatting away to us while we ate our breakfast and giving suggestions on where to go and what to do.

We loved the personal service and the fact that all the staff addressed you by your first name every time you saw them.

I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again when we return to Queenstown.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and book a Remarkables Room...it's well worth every penny!

“Clean, New and Close to Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We enjoyed our stay and agree with other positive reviews on this hotel: the hotel was close to town (about 5 min walk), the staff were friendly and helpful and the room we had was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel was beautifully decorated.

We appreciated having a kitchenette in the room as it allowed us to prepare some simple food. It was well equipped with kitchenware including an electric stove, microwave and kettle.

Our room was on the first floor and offered us a view of a park and the mountains. However, as the room was next to the road, on some nights there was street noise which woke us up. The room was also a little dark when the blinds were drawn down.

Overall, a pleasant stay at a new and modern hotel close to town.

“Great stay in Queenstown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Beautiful room, excellent location with great views. Host and hotel reception were very friendly and helpful. The evening wine and canapes were a great way to relax before dinner. The only negative was that we could hear some street noise as our room was facing the road and this may be an issue if you are a light sleeper.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street
