I often stay at Sofitel hotels when traveling, either for vacation or business. This one lives up to the company's reputation for excellent service and wonderful rooms. The bathroom was large and spa-like and the bed was extremely comfortable. The service was excellent, as expected. The Sofitel is very centrally located and close to everything in Queenstown. I highly recommend it.

The title says it all really! Fantastic service from everyone concerned, probably took less than 3-4 minutes to check-in. The location is right in the centre of town but is sort of tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the nightlife, albeit only 2 minutes away. Queenstown's a great place and with competition so high in the area, it really keeps hoteliers / restauranteurs on their toes.

We stayed in 5 hotels in NZ and this was our favorite. This was the gold standard. Our group kept comparing the other hotels to this one. I wish we could have stayed there for the entire trip
