Stayed here as part of my stray tour with friends.

Recpetion staff were ok, but the lift was broken when we first arrive and stray traveller stay on the top floor *thumbs down* but it was eventually fixed before we left.
The room was a 6 bed dorm, relatively clean, with an ensuite shower and WC. There is a full length mirror on the wall which is a luxury! There is also a fridge and kettle.

The shower is a rubbish push button thin like you get on sinks and takes AGES to warm up :(

You can do laundry for $4 (2x$2 coins) wash and dry are the same cost; theres also GHD's for $4 to use. I couldn't find an iron which was a bit rubbish!

The staff have absolutely no people skills, they're insulting, rude, antagonistic and generally don't give a s**t!! Highly over priced for what you actually get and if you want to check out early having paid for the extra night they'll refuse you a refund! The kitchen is absolutely DISGUSTING AND FILTHY!!! They have a nightclub underneath all their accomodation WHICH DOESN'T STOP PUMPING ALL NIGHT, but does send wild vomitting 20 somethings running NAKED through the corridors until at least 6am. HORRIBLE!!!!

It's just a hostel so don't expect too much but for basic accomodation it is an excellent value. The bathroom was very clean which was so nice! We had a private room and even though we were above the club, we still slept well. My only gripe is that while the rooms are non smoking if you open your windows all the smoke from the neighbors, the club downstairs, and the BBq restaurant across the street all POUR into the room. That was a little hard to handle at times, but still think it's an excellent value.

Great location and friendly staff at this hostel. Rooms are good but it is pretty difficult to get any sleep connected to a bar and with thrill seekers roaming the hallways. All in all, Good value for money.
