We stayed here four years ago and the place hasn’t changed much with some notable exceptions. Upside: great location a few block walk to the center of Queenstown, the Wharf and the Park; comfortable rooms, with kitchens, small couch, twin bed in the living room, separate room with a queen bed, a small, but accommodating bathroom (no tub) & electric wall heaters in the main room and bathroom. Downside: we asked for room with a view, but forgot to mention a view of the mountains and not the street; alright, we never spend much time in the room, but the staff was unable to work around this so there we were for the three days we stayed here. And the TV selections dropped from lots of channels to six channels: no cable access at all; some rigmarole about climatic conditions (?). Maybe it’s ski season and the “little things” cost too much, especially since the rooms will fill no matter what the hotelier offers. We may try another hotel next time; too bad, I liked this place.
Room Tip: Ask for a view towards the fiord or at least away from the street
