Stayed one week with 3 adults and 1 2 year old. The best equipped apartment I have ever stayed in with every kitchen instrument you could want, even your own outdoor bbq and patio, log burner, stereo, dvd, magazines. Fantastic luxury apartment but with a comfortable homely feel rather than the sterileness of most. Garage included. Definitely worth the price compared to others.

Stayed two nights and had a lovely comfortable unit. Well decorated and equipped, glorious views of the lake, clean and well maintained. More than we had hoped for. Perhaps a bit more pricey than many motels but we decided to pay a little more as we were here for two days and felt this was good value. Drive is steep and quite hard to manouever but just take it slowly. Did not realy encounter staff very much, service on check in was fine, Efficient rather than welcoming. Would recommend.

I'd only read very positive reviews of Spinnaker on TripAdvisor so my expectations were high. They were mostly met. Great location, my family stayed in a spacious 3 bedroom apartment. The 5-star accommodation rating doesn't match with what 5-stars means in Austraila; the decor was quite dated and the kitchen utensils were minimal. Service was average, we had trouble connecting to the internet and little help was offered. We were attracted by the heated swimming pool, but found it's open only in summer.
We would return again, with more moderate expectations.

This is our fourth stay at Spinnaker, we didnt want a hotel experience, been there done that. My children are early teens and wouldnt appreciate being cooped up in a hotel room.

We have stayed in 2 of the three bedroom units and 2 of the two bed units. All have been furnished to the individual owners taste, so all units are different. Each has a log burner, heaters, electric blankets so being cold will not be an issue. All apartments have fab views over lake Wakatipu and all our very very comfortable. It also gives us the choice to eat in instead of looking for somewhere to eat.

There is a heated pool, sauna, the driveway is heated in winter months to prevent it icing over. The driveway is steep, just takes a little skillfull driving to the garaging, we have a huge 4wd

Queenstown centre is a an easy 15 min walk along the lake side and through Jubilee park.

It is a great place to stay and I do not bother looking anywhere in QT for other accomodation, its a little expensive but two hotel rooms of equal standard would be the same and we would be separated, and another point, one of the local supermarkets provides online shopping and delivery, so you can have any essentials delivered.
