This motel was one of the best equipped we stayed in whilst travelling around New Zealand. Even had a washer/drier. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It was a short stroll to the centre of Dunedin. Russell, the stand-in host, was extremely friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic accommodation with first class facilities. Rooms feature a kitchenette, lounge, huge spa in ensuite and space to move. All ultra modern conveniences, comfortable beds and peaceful outlook over Dunedin. Everything is of high quality in the rooms. Owners are great hosts. DVD library available. There are patio areas and lounge areas to utilise around the complex as well. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back. WE highly recommend this establishment.

We chose Bluestone on George from reading the Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious, very clean and having a kitchen in the room was extremely useful (especially the washing machine!). The hotel is set back from the road so there was no traffic noise and the off-street car park was a bonus. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our 3 night stay. Recommend it.

This a first class choice for visits to Dunedin. The studio was modern and classy but also functional. Excellent housekeeping(even replace the washing powder for in-room machine) welcoming reception. Off street parking.
Easy walking to the Octagon and on the main street for shopping.

Small complaint-perhaps it is time to stop charging for internet access?
