True, there is no view, and it is a bit of walk (~ 8 blocks) to the Octagon, and the room is not elegantly appointed. But the beds were comfortable and the room was clean (and roomy). The bathroom and kitchen layout in this self-contained were the best we encountered in 3 weeks in New Zealand; easy to use without getting in each other's way. Despite a party with loud music going on in the Rugby Club across the street, it was quiet in the room (thanks to hush glass, I suspect). Our host was very friendly, and gave us helpful driving and parking advice. The Otago Museum, shopping/restaurants, park and university are very close; breakfast available (for extra fee).

Good functional motel that meets all requirements but I had slightly higher expectations. Close to everything but still a bit to far for walking. Rooms where nice and clean, comfy beds and a good shower. Nice, friendly and helpful staff! A safe choice that everyone will be happy with.

Spent 4 days in Dunedin for work, accommodation was clean tidy and well presented. Good value for money $130 a night, slightly further than I thought to walk to octagon about 20 mins.

I used the conference room for a product release. Bev and Alan were very helpful. We had to change the tables and seating around the room to suit our needs and they were very accomodating. Coffee and tea was plentiful for my clients who were arriving hourly. Would use again. Thank you for your help!
