Stayed one night, 8/2/11 - booked on line via Qantas - not modern but very good.
I left some clean clothing in the wardrobe, emailed reception advising unable to return and would they be kind enough to donate to a local charity. Response was prompt and only too pleased to assist.

Funny styled building, very outdated flowery and not particularly clean looking decor.

Our blue plastic scraped toilet seat will give us nightmares for years to come, rooms were big. An unpleasant surprise was to find private hairs from previous guests still in our shower two days running, ( we didn't shower! ).

Location was a walk into town, at night there are noises from drunks/louts gathering across the road at the petrol station / 24hr shop.

We were tucked around the side so this didn't bother us a great deal.

Walls are thin and the TV is mounted on the wall, therefore you get to hear what next door is watching should they have the TV on. Plus their snoring.

Could be made nicer if effort was made to modernise the motel and invest in cleaners who actually do the job properly.

Plenty of motels in the area, wouldn't choose to come back here.

Great value for money for a1 bedroom apartment. Staff were very friendly, location was excelent. Syaed 3 days next time we will book for a week.

We arrived in Dunedin late without a place to stay - so we drove down George st which is littered with motels, hotels and hostels. By random selection we chose this one and it was a pleasant surprise. The guy at reception was very helpful and friendly, he even upgraded our room at no extra cost - this mainly meant having a jacuzzi/hot tub. It was pretty cold when we stayed here, so it was a perfect addition, along with the electric blankets. Rooms are a tad old and dated, but very spacious. Little or no extra services or facilities available but it was a very comfortable stay.
