Motels in NZ tend to be function rather than anything else and to a certain extent this motel follows that patern. As you would expect from a reasonably new establishment this one is bright and clean. We had a unit with a seperate bed room so it was quite a lot roomier than most.

Where it stands apart from it's competition is the attention to detail, like lights in the right place for reading and extra power points around the place. The furnishings were of a particuarly high standard.

Despite being on a busy road (our unit was right at the front) and in the University zone, the sound proofing ment the place was quiet. Little if any outside noise. The place was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.

I thouroughly recomend this place.

Chose this motel because of comments on Trip Advisor's website. Glad I did. Last week I had 2 stays in different rooms. Both were very comfortable, roomy, clean & very functional/ well appointed.
Owners Garry & Kathy were very friendly & very helpful.
It's very close to facilities such as restaurants, stores etc.
If ever I was staying in Dunedin, this would be the first place I'd look to stay. Can't praise the motel more highly.

Excellent motel! Very clean / modern and at a very convenient location. The customer service by the motel owner/manager was outstanding. My rental car had a flat tire and the motel owner personally helped me change the tire and spent over half an hour on the phone in order to locate an open tire repair shop when most businesses where closed due to the Christmas holidays. Absolutely superb customer service by a hotel owner who truly cares for his customers.

I had a very enjoyable stay here in a very clean and comfortable environment. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Very clean linen and a lovely light duvet for the summer (but extra bedding available if needed). All the amenities were on hand, including free broadband. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and unobtrusive when servicing the unit. Owners are easy to talk to, and helped to plan my day trips to get the most out of my stay.
The motels are close to the city and it is an easy walk into town for shopping and dining. They are also close to the Botanical Gardens, and I enjoyed a leisurely stroll through them with family.
