We stayed two nights in November. We booked and paid for the accommodation some months ago. When we booked, a key factor was there being off-street parking at no charge. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told we now had to pay an additional car park charge of $11.50 a day. We expressed concern at this and were told, by the receptionist, we would need to speak to the duty manager the following morning. Through our being very firm, when we checked out, the charge was waived.
The stay was also coloured by the staff on reception in the evening when we arrived being frosty and unwelcome. Our room this time was a dark, cramped little box which mostly looked out onto a brick wall. The room was close to the lifts and we could hear word for word all the conversations as people waited for their lift. Even though we had booked on line through wot-if, the room was very poor value for the room rate. The room was a bit shabby and knocked around. Thick glue had been used in the bathroom to keep some things in place. It was not that clean. The shower pressure was extremely weak.
Not a good stay, though the person on reception when we left handled our complaints well.

Unsure how the confusion arose surrounding our advertised Wotif parking rate of $11.50/day but pleasing to see that this charge was ultimately not past on to you ... Disappointing to read the room issues encountered as I have little doubt that had these been raised with Reception on your 1st night we could have remedied, which in the least could have meant a room move to more suitable option.
