Stayed for two nights in mid-summer. The property is a lttle out of town (approx 10 mins by car), which might not suit everybody, but I would recommend giving this place a try. The house has only three bedrooms, one with it's own bathroom, and the other two with seperate bathrooms acroos the landing (a walk of about five paces from each bedroom.
The bedrooms are well furnished, and very comfortable with everything you may need provided. There are two lounges downstairs, a breakfast room and dining room all furnished to match the historical background of the house.
The hosts (Allen and Olivia) are very accommodating, with ample breakfasts (allen will cook you almost anything), and a superb in-house dinner menu.
There is a phrase that the difference between a B&B and a hotel is that when you leave a hotel, you don't want to give the staff a hug... it's certainly true for the hosts at Lisburn House
