We chose this accommodation as it was relatively cheap and close to the octagon. The rooms are very small and basic, but fine as we were sight seeing through the day and out most of the night.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we got upgraded which was great. As others have mentioned the rooms are not spacious, but it's all we needed. The place was clean and the bed was really comfy. Location wise it's not far from restaurants, and there is a supermarket a block away. There is a large communal kitchen area on the 2nd floor and all the other floors have lounge areas some with cooking facilities as well. For the price you really can't go wrong.

This hotel is a really good deal in Dunedin. Stayed there twice. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need. And they are clean. The bathroom is just a "cubicle" made of frosted glass inside the actual room.

There is free parking (limited availability) and a communal kitchen and eating area. Location is also good, easy walking to city center.

Would stay there anytime when in Dunedin.

My husband and I stayed in a queen studio for 3 nights in late January. 'Livingspace' offers a rather compact but exceedingly efficient use of living space. It was all we could have wanted or needed for our 4 day visit to Dunedin. The bed was comfortable.The shower/bathroom 'pod' was novel and worked well. The studio was clean and well presented. (Altho the venetian blinds could have done with a clean...dusty)The service was excellent. During our stay we did have to move rooms as the neighbouring house had youthful tenants who liked to skateboard on their ramp until the early hours...the hotel is endeavouring to solve this problem through correct channels.The hotel was most apologetic and accomodating in our move to another side of the building. Flat & short easy walk to city. Will stay there again.
