By far the least favourite of all the 18 places we stayed on our 'big tour of New Zealand'. Maybe we just misinterpreted the description on the web.
The converted building was a maze of corridors, & we finally found our room - which had corridors on 3 sides, & it seemed that everyone staying that 1 night walked past at some time.
Bathroom: a 'pod' built into the corner - see the picture! Everything in there, & not a lot of room to manoeuvre. The towels were OK, shower powerful, but the door doesn't fully shut - there is a 6" gap between shower & other area, so water splashes out.
Main room: poor lighting, very high bed, so had to clamber up. Set across room under the window, so whoever gets the window side has to clamber over the other person if they want to get up in the night......
No wardrobe. No hairdryer.
TV is wall mounted at foot of bed, so have to sit on bed to view. 2 seater sofa: cushions comfortable, but back is hard.
Linens - clean, fresh & plentiful.
Wooden blinds at window - didn't keep light out. View over disused buildings.
Got the impression all the furnishings came from Ikea.
Car park - limited 1st come, 1st served parking at rear. We couldn't get in, but the receptionist gave us a pass to an indoor garage under the building - the entrance is narrow & getting in/out involved several shuffles in our Ford Focus.
Wouldn't stay again.
