I thought this hotel was shabby, tired and the rooms were ridiculously small.....do not bring a cat....there is no room to swing one! The iron did not work, and the TV was really old and only a few channels worked. We had to ask to move rooms as the first room we were put in was like the broom cupboard which they had just shoved a bed in and called it a hotel room....it didn't even have curtains just a sheet over the window. I have no idea why so many people rate this hotel, it is really bad. Location is the only thing it has going for it. Rubbish.

Enjoyed our stay here, though not sure whether it suffered earthquake damage after we left. Access to our room (13) needed stairs as well as a lift.

In Beautiful Christchurch. This place has very friendly staff and is located in the heart of Christchurch.... Enjoyed it

Great location for sightseeing in Christchurch. Rooms quite small, internet didnt work while we were there. Lift also didnt work properly. Fridge in room very noisy at night. I would recommend this hotel but only for the location. There is an extra charge for parking.
