Ann, Harold and Teddies, glad you are ok after the big shake.Whilst the building no doubt has taken a hit ,your hospitality and genuine care for your guests will always be there.We had great memories of our stay only 10 days before the quake and promise we will be back to that beautiful city as soon as is practical. “What a lovely, gracious place to stay.”
Beautiful historic house, well-maintained by gracious hostess Ann. Spacious, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, convenient location. Alas, they were severely damaged by the Feb 2011 earthquake, and may not reopen until April. Check their website.

Eliza's manor is conveniently located for the centre of Christchurch without being right in the hub-bub. The house is beautiful, comfortable (fantastic showers!) and Ann's hospitality is
peerless. The cooked breakfasts were delicious (thumbs up especially to the pancakes and eggs benedict). We had a wonderful stay and it was really nice to finish off our memorable holiday in New Zealand with a stay at Eliza's.

“Great B&B in a historic building!”
We started our vacation on the South Island with a two night stay at Eliza's Manor on Bealey. What a charmer of a B&B in a historic building. The rooms were large and clean with all the amenities we needed. The walk to Cathedral Square and Hagley Park was about 15 minutes which helped us get over our jet lag. The breakfasts were great. Ann and Harold made us feel right at home.
