I spent two nights at this hotel last week. The staff were as good as I have ever dealt with. They were friendly, helpful and very efficient. The rooms were large, although a little dated. We hired a meeting room at this hotel for both days and it was perfect for our needs. It was clean, well laid out and little touches like writing pads and pens showed a standard of service that other hotels would do well to match. The location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. The only shortcoming (not really the fault of the hotel), was being kept awake till 1 am one night by very loud music from the street or a nearby nightclub/hotel.

During our visit to Christchurch we spent 4 nights in this very pleasant hotel. Our room was large with ensuite and the king bed was extremely comfortable. We were on the 7th floor and heard no noise from the street or other rooms. The restaurant was airy and spacious, and the food quality was very good. One of the great staff members made us fresh & delicious fruit drinks from their fabulous juicer. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

A bit better than the usual Holiday Inn experience. Great city centre location. Rooms clean and comfy. Happily stay again

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the Executive Level. The apartment was shabby, the furniture all needed replacing, the kitchen needed renovating and the T.V was the oldest portable we've seen in a long time. Very disappointing. Fortunately we were here only one night. The only positive was the location ias it is within walking distance to all the local amenities.
