We arrived very late due to a delay with thunder storms in Melbourne approx 3-4am. We had to be up and ready to leave as the shuttle was picking us up to go on the Tranzalphine from Christchurch to Greymouth at 7am. So when we arrived quickly cleaned teeth and then jumped into bed we had 2 double beds in our room my husband and myself and teenage daughter were travelling together to my horror the bed I jumped into felt dirty so I then jumped into my daughters bed and could immediately feel the difference you get with clean linen. I turned on all the lights and pulled back the blanket and top sheet to reveal someone indeed had been sleeping in my bed with dark hairs to boot. I rang reception straight away he said that he would come down and change sheets but (my own choice decided we needed the sleep rather than the clean sheets my poor husband slept in the dirty bed and I slept with my daughter).

The worst part was we had to return to this hotel at the end of our trip as we had pre-paid for our accomodation. For the inconvenience management gave one free drink voucher there were 3 of us and a discount voucher for food but you had to spend a certain amount.

On our return 2 weeks later the sheets were clean and we had a nicer room overlooking the rose garden but I would not stay here again. There are much nicer and cheaper places to stay IMO. Lizzy

This hotel was extremely interesting for anyone who is technologically stimulated! It has mood controllers in the room and is overall a very intriguing experience. The room though is very small. Compact and very well organized but can get a little too small for comfort if the couple is a little old. Overall a good experience but the rooms are surely tight !

- Internet not working often.
- Staff not very cooperative.
- Their computer systems crash often, so my room-key was not working for several hours. Everytime I had to enter my room, I had to request hotel staff to use a master key to open my room. Once I had to wait for 18 minutes waiting for someone to open my room.
- I was to receive a parcel by mail. Assuming it got delayed, after leaving the hotel, I emailed them with my forwarding address. Unfortunately, there is no response from the hotel staff. So I have effectively lost the parcel.

Spent one night at the All Seasons hotel and it was not good. The front desk ignored us while the phone rang, which is really bad service. Then the room was very old and didn't look like anything had been done since the '80's. The bed was very soft but we slept ok - we must have been tired. The doors opened on to a small area with a fake creeper and nothing like what it looked like on the photo I'd seen.
