The hotel is in a perfect location right at the heart of Christchurch. The bedroom was enormous but both the bedroom and the bathroom could have done with a "spring clean". They were clean but some of the tiles in the bathroom were beginning to look a bit grubby. The television didn't work on my first night and I reported it the next morning. The second night it still wasn't working so I asked again and was told by the receptionist that day that she hadn't been made aware of the problem but she could get a man to come in at 9 p.m. if I wanted! As single, female traveller I declined that offer. That said, both receptionists I spoke to were very helpful and the hotel could not be better placed.

This hotel has a great location. It's located right next to the cathedral in the heart of Christchurch. It's under new ownership, I believe, and the new owners seem to be investing properly. The adjoining restaurant also had really good food.

Stayed for two nights and found the staff very helpful/ friendly, room seemed a bit dated but had 2 king/queen sized beds and all facilities. We traveled from the airport on the bus and walked to the hotel from the bus terminal......great location. Checked out at 5.30am with no problems and the cost of a taxi to the airport was $30, would recommend this hotel especially for the location.

Great place to stay in heart of Christchurch with huge rooms and views to die for all staff were very courteous and extremely polite good size bathroom and very clean
