Arthur`s Court Motor Lodge is a very nice place to stay in. I`m here in New Zealand for work and from the beginning I got a very warm, lovely welcome. Jo and Frank are the owners of this Motel and they try to help and support you where ever they can. The units are very clean and nothing is missing. However if you are staying one night or 4 weeks Frank and Jo are taking care of you. You can sit back relax and enjoy your stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Frank and Jo are warm and welcoming hosts. After a travel day from hell I needed a haven to relax in..this is the place, Frank even welcomed me with a beer to ease away the stress. Room was absolutely spotless with quality touches throughout from the sheets on the bed to the wine glasses and cutlery.
If you are feeling peckish be sure to check out the Thai Restauraunt about 30m up the road awesome food, best Thai I have tasted in a long while. There is also a bottleshop a little further down the road (2 mins walk) which has a great selection of wine.
Highly recommended will be back on my next visit to Christchurch

The cleanest hotel I've stayed, smoke free environment. I stay in hotels all over NZ & rate Arthur's court as the best. The managers have a high level of pride for the premises. Close to city. Very comfortable beds. Great nights sleep.

Jo & Frank are great hosts - they are only to willing to help and answer any questions. The rooms are surperb. If you want very nice, very clean and warm rooms this is the place to go. Overall this would be one of the best and would be hard to beat.
