We stayed in the Raja room for one evening. Check-in was easy with a very friendly staff member. The room was eclectic, funky, spotlessly clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the eccentricity of it and were expecting it from reading other reviews. A friend who is from Blenheim suggested the hotel restaurant for dinner. He said it was "the best dinner in town". We made a dinner reservation when we booked the room. We were not disappointed! It was the best meal out that we had in New Zealnd.

We stayed here for one night to allow for a day trip around the wineries.
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Blenheim and has parking at the side. We stayed in the rouge room which was spacious and well tended. It had a great little feel and had retained some of orginal period features from the building. Outside our room was a lounge area, where guests could help themselves to a glass of port.
You do have to pay for wifi access and slightly painfully you could only access this from the lounge area, not the room.
The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and only two small points affected the score; we did feel disappointed that they didn't try harder to get us into the restaurant (a table after us managed to add another 2 to their table without issue) and we had to carry our own bags up to our room.
All in all a great place to stay, we would return.

We had a fantastic meal here. Recommended to us was the bistro or early bird menu. 30 dollars a head got us an excellent 3 course meal. Well cooked and presented, friendly service. Outstanding value.

Spent Christmas day and Boxing day at the hotel. From the start to the end Chris took care of everything and made us feel very welcome. I enjoyed the port wine on the second floor always available to have a glass. The wine list and the food at the restaurant was excelelnt. A great place to stay while enjoying the fantastic wine region. Across the street you can rent bikes and ride to the wineries.
