We did the half day tour - our guide was great, really pleasant and he took us to lots of wineries and knew quite a bit about the area too. We loved it!

Contrary to another comment, we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and would not have had the same experience without Colleen. Colleen was knowledgeable, friendly and it was all about "us". The whole day was brilliant, at our own pace and a great mixture of larger vineyards and smaller boutique ones. Colleen took note of which wines we were enjoying and tailor made the afternoon to suit everyone's tastes. Definitely do this tour, well worth it!

Great way to spend the day. Coleen was a knowledge and friendly guide. Not only did we go to a good selection of wineries but also the chocolate factory, which is not to be missed.

We really enjoyed the vineyards and tastings; which is why I think there are so many good reviews on here. However we think the tour is extremely expensive for what you get. There is so much info on wine around Blenheim that you could very easily draw up your own itinerary and then either bike or get a taxi. This would mean you wouldn't have to spend your day waiting around for other people or feeling rushed when you were enjoying a place. Plus you could spend your money on wine and not on lining the pockets of a parasitic business that makes money from the generosity of wineries. The majority of tastings are free anyway and they don't even pay for the ones that aren't. I was shocked to learn that the company don't pay the wineries a fee to turn up with large groups. This means you really are only getting a ride. Plus if the bus is full you wont even get to sit with your friends. Look for a different means of transport or a company that gives you more for your money.
