We had a suite for 3 for a couple of nights in January 2012 and everything was excellent including the concierge service, breakfast etc. There were renovations going on in the restaurant but they did not interfere with the breakfast which was freshly cooked and we enjoyed very much.

We stayed for a week at the Bolton with two small children and found the one bedroom apartment to be lovely, modern and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The distance to all Wellington attractions was manageable on foot or by bus. We found the walk back to the hotel from the Botanic Gardens really great!

Back for another visit to Wellington & stayed at the Bolton again. Always our first choice & never fails to disappoint.
Try the tresillian Chardonnay - it is superb!

We had a lovely 2 night stay on the 8th floor of this hotel. The room was fabulous as in very modern, pristinely clean and a huge as new bathroom. The kitchen was of a a very high quality and had every convenience which is rare with hotels that often just have tea/coffee facilities. We were disappointed with one thing we requested, that being the room must have a view. We specifically said the last thing we want is to be facing another tall building - but that is exactly what we got - we looked directly into other buildings with no view at all! However, the room service dinners were to die for and the breakfast was very good - best hollandaise ever! It should be noted that giving cutomers food stained paper menus was not to good though. Had the best ever service from a young Serb employee there called Dushon (he was superb!). Thank you for everything Dushon.
