My fiancee and I got married in wellington and booked a king bed suite at the hotel for the night. What can I say? The room was amazing and represented very good value compared to other hotels in the city, and you could not ask for better views! We were greeted with smiles when we checked in and the service was excellent throughout! we would definitely reccomend the Copthorne to anyone who is visiting Wellington.

My husband and I loved this hotel. It was one of the best rooms we stayed in during our entire vacation in New Zealand. We received an upgrade upon arrival and had a waterfront view on floor 5. The view was fabulous and I had to take several pictures. Having this room made me want to just stay in the room and sip wine overlooking the harbor. So we did. We ventured out in Wellington for dinner but returned early to get a good night's sleep. A good nights sleep we got the bed was super comfy. I wish all my rooms had been this night. It made me feel spoiled to have this much luxury. We stayed in a combination of hostels and hotels. The price was very reasonable for the luxury you get. I booked on Orbitz. The room has a small fridge and coffee maker. The room is incredibly spacious. The bathroom was nice and the shower had great water pressure. The top floor has a small pool and a bar with a restaurant. We did not eat or drink here but the top floor looked nice. It is true the parking isn't the greatest you can park in a nearby garage and for a fee. We parked in the meter parking because it was free in the late afternoon and just put money in at 8am. It wasn't an issue for us. The hotel is within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely return to this hotel and this would be my only choice in Wellington.

Our first visit to Wellington and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They allowed us to get in to our room early and also had a late checkout. Great location with a beautiful view over the harbour, very clean, could not fault it. Will definitely be returning.

Could not fault anything, service first class, food excellent, staff..nothing too much trouble.and so on!!! Certainly an enjoyable 4 day stay
