When I arrived I parked the car and met the very pleasant receptionist and a guy pondering over the issue of why the internet was not working. Room on the third floor was very 70s but clean and great for sleeping: the bed was comfortable. TV worked, radio worked and so did the alarm clock. In fact reception gave me a call in the morning. I was catching the interislander for 5 days and was allowed to park my car in their carpark free of charge for that time period: the management also drove me to the ferry terminal building and promised to pick me up when I returned. When I returned sadly the shuttle service was not available and I had to pay $20 for a taxi to get me there from the terminal. However, the free parking saved me $60 and the shuttle to the Ferry another $20. I enjoyed my stay. The new room on my return also on the third floor was great for my sleeping needs. I will definitely return should the same level of service continue.

While very outdated with no money spent on anything, the rooms are clean and tidy. The bedspreads could do with updating, although, again I say, they were clean. Smells a bit musty due to old carpet. Included breakfast was good. You are getting a very cheap stay here, so can't expect the world for the price. Don't stay here if you want any luxury, but if you want budget, which is still clean and tidy, I would recommend. Very well situated with botanic gardens across road, free parking, and bus stop right outside which takes you to central city in about 10 minutes for a couple of bucks.

Great value accomodation for budget minded.Beautiful stroll through the gardens to town.Handy location. If you are expecting 5 star for the very reasonable $59 Grab 1 deal don't bother.Loved Koby the dog!!!

Despite some very mixed reviews this hotel in my opinion is very good value for money and not at all as bad as some previous reviews. Our room was spacious and clean.
The location is excellent with a bus stop right outside.
