Wi-fi good if limited time wanted - if more got complicated

We were very warmley welcomed by the hosts. Our room was readily provided early and was an excellent base for our holiday. Great location, walking distance, spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts continued to be very friendly and cheerful offering advice, free bikes and videos.. Even the cleaning staff were friendly and happy. This is one very happy place to stay. Would very highly recommend for a friendly, helpful, quiet, clean, and relaxing stay.

We ( 2 adults & 2 kids under 5) stayed here in Feb 2011. The hosts were very accommodating & informative. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean - very spacious. ( 1 bedroom for the kids & queen bed in the lounge. The room had air con which was a god-send as it was very hot. Close to the main shopping area - a gentle stroll & not far from the waterfront. Would highly recommend & would stay again. - Many thanks for some great memories!

We stayed at Catelli's for four nights over the New Year weekend and had a great stay.

We arrived very late on the Friday night after an awful journey, we'd been in touch and they'd let us know which Studio we we're in and arranged for us to still get in after midnight.

Good little apartment / studio which had a big comfy bed, two leather armchairs, shelving / wardrobe unit, TV and kitchenette. There was a breakfast bar at the end of the kitchen and a couple of chairs to sit on for breakfast / dinner. The bathroom was in the corner, it had a shower, loo and sink and was a good size.

Well the weather wasn't fabulous in Taupo for the weekend so we did the things for a rainy day and returned to the Motel to escape the worst of it. There was a selection of DVD's in reception which you could borrow and that helped us to pass the time.

The location was only about 10 minutes walk from Taupo town so was pretty convenient. On New Years eve it was tipping it down with rain and no Taxi's were available. Our hosts very kindly gave us a lift into town, which was a nice touch.

Room was clean and the towels were changed everyday. There was also a laundry on site which meant we could dry out our clothes after braving the rain renting a boat on the lake.

All in all, a nice stay and we'd stay again.
