Host kind of frightened my boyfriend when he was shocked/slightly angry that he wouldn't take the milk that was offered. I took it though, and it was some good milk. The host was actually really nice and dropped us off at the bus stop for free when we were departing and said that he would have given us a lift to the motel from the bus stools if we had asked before arrival.

It wasnt too far away from town but it was an annoyance to walk that distance in the torrential rain.

We love the Bay Court Motel. It is located right opposite Lake Taupo, could it be any better? It is also close to the town center. We could just walk to the town for our meal, about 10 minutes walk.

It was very easy to find the motel, just drive along Lake Taupo and you will see it!Plus the big sign of the motel would definitely get your attention!

The check in counter is pretty small. The only one working was the man ( I think it may be the owner ) He was very friendly and gave us lots of useful tips about the area.

Bay Court Motel is a 2 stories building. Outside our room, there were chairs and table where we sat and had a cup of coffee while enjoying the wonderful view of Lake Taupo. This motel is right next to the Copthorne. Although we felt a little funny while sitting there and could see the people who stayed at the Copthtorne.

It was a big studio unit. There was a couch, TV, tables and chairs at the living room, and then it was a kitchen with full cookery and utensils. After the kitchen area, it was our bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom is our favorite! There was a spa bath with bubble bath gel provided! We had the time of our life in that spa bathtub and that got Charlie hooked on Spa! Thanks to Bay Court!!

The unit was clean and spacious. With the amount of money we paid, it is definitely worth the value. In fact, I think they might have under-charged us..

Stayed here feb 2011 it was right on the lake road, super clean rooms and staff were so friendly. would stay again

After being let down by a bach we had planned to stay in, we stumbled across this place & glad we did. Really clean, tidy & serviced daily. 10 min walk to town along lakeside. Would definitely recommend it & would definitely go again.
