A nice hotel with view on the Tasman Sea, unfortunately is there a multilane street in between with heavy traffic including lorries as it is a direct lane to the harbour. The situation improves during the night. We had one of the Penthouse Suites, seafront, big living room with kitchenette and separate washing machine and laundry dryer, flat screen, DVD player. Nice bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower, no window.
Small bedroom, also sea front, king size bed. Small wardrobe.
Balcony over the front of bedroom and living room with sunlounger, table, 2 armchairs.
The restaurant “Salt” on the first floor is very popular with the locals. The menu is good, the meals are small but good, the guest is expected to use salt and pepper himself.
No atmosphere.
We recommend the restaurant “The Garlec Press” 81, Devon Street West, only 2 minutes away.
