We had a great time at this hotel by the lake in Rotorua. The service was so friendly that we felt as though we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. As good as any that we have experienced anywhere in the world! They must have great staff training, everyone greeted us as we passed by, from the bar staff to the cleaners. The bar had happy hour, the restaurant meal was really nice and well presented, the bed was comfy and the mineral hot pools were lovely. What more could we want!

We stayed two nights from February 6 2012 in a suite, room 301. The room was nice, clean and everything worked. There is a guest laundry on level 1, $2.00 per load including detergent, the drier was $2.00 also. We had a good view of the lake and there was no outside noise.

We used the private thermal pools which were nice but not as good as the Polynesian Spa private pools (but were less than half the price ). The other pools and spa were also very good.

The also used both the bar and restaurant and found the food good and the price was ok as well. The bar is very nice and the service was excellent. I found all the staff to be very helpful regardless of my questions. You could tell this is a hotel used to dealing with tourists.

The Hotel is situated minutes from everything Rotorua has to offer including the Polynesian Spa, free mud pools, the Government Gardens and many restaurants. A great location and a good hotel.

I will stay here again when back in Rotorua.
