We had no complaints staying here; it's basically individual motel rooms, which was fine as they were clean and sufficient. However, we loved the location. We would stay here again for sure. One thing to remember is to order breakfast the night before!

Stayed here based on other people's reviews. Was a great decision. As most of the big attractions are this end of town we were in the right end of town. We also found out that our daughter did not like the smell of Rotorua so staying here was good and there was no sulphur smell that Rotorua is known for.
Karen was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She was able to advise of the best attractions to do.
The room itself suited our needs and was very comfortable. The kids made use of the pool and playground. Didn't get a chance to do the mini putt.
The restaurant was a bonus as we didn't feel like looking for other options. Dinner for more than adequate for what we needed. Would definately stay here again and recommend to others.

My partner and our 3 kids stayed for 2 nights at braeside. On arrivel we were greeted very warmly by the very freindly staff who made us feel very welcome.The kids has so much fun, there was a playground,games room and mini golf for them. There was a heated pool and spa's as well as the private spa's in the units. The units were very spacious,comfotable and clean.The courtyard at the back was wonderful with the stream running behind it. We had dinner in the resturant which was beautiful and the food was great, such a nice change from the maccdonalds the kids kept wanting lol. We stayed in rotorua for 4 nights all up and just wished we'd found this place earlier to stay for all 4 nights instead of just the 2 as the other motels were not nearly as good as this one. Great location too, with the luges across the road and many other attractions close by. Highly recommend!

both my daughter and I have travelled extensively so are quite particular and fussy on hotels and motels and where to stay. However our first venture with her children, grandchildren and friends we stayed at Braeside. The owners were a delight friendly and fun, the units amazing clean and functional. We both made the same comment that the unit we had was cleaner than our home and we are particularly clean we thought. Fun for the children, a great playground, mini gold put put, pool, room for us to have a drink, with bar and small restaurant. Perfect. Quiet private and we were very impressed better than a four star hotel. Would recommend decor all updated and fairly new. Grandaughters didn't want to leave they wanted to stay thats how much fun the children enjoyed it as well. Along with that the facility is a five minute walk to the Gondala and luge. Well done Braeside
