We have been before in this motel over the years and it has been sad to see the continuous decline of this place due to lack of maintenance; so this was the last time for us. The owner keeps the same well-trained smile and the motel looks very tired indeed.

There is no lack of motels in Fenton Street and, for pretty much the same price, you could stay across the road in the Tuscany Villas or one block closer to town in the Executive on Fenton or... too numerous to mention.

We spent one night here as we were travelling through different cities each day. This was a very friendly little motel. The lady who ran it was extremely helpful. She even stayed up late to let us get our laundry done! Our room was spacious and clean and had a kitchen included. All the rooms have little indoor hot tubs with natural hot spring water due to the geothermal activity in the area. The motel is in an excellent location close to the town centre and with everything you need nearby. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Rotorua!

I have stood in Midway Motel with my wife and baby daughter during our trip around New Zealand. The place is well located, close to Rotorua center, restaurants and supermarkets. The room has a good size, with TV, free internet and kitchen furniture - we like a lot the spa within the bathroom pumped with the natural hot water that runs below the city! The owners were very nice and helpful for all our requests - would recommend to anyone going to Rotorua.

Our reservation started very positively when I was personally shown around the room by the owner.

Our Double Room was spacious and offered a kitchenette and sitting area. My partner and I enjoyed the hot plunge pool which offered a welcome chance to relax after exploring the other natural wonders in the area.

The motel is centrally located near various eateries (though it's best to drive to a restaurant district) and supermarkets (within walking distance).

The free wireless internet worked great (best when near the door) which made for a great change from the previous night's accommodation.

I would not hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone.
