An otherwise pleasant stay was marred by a lady at reception insisting we pay $10 for a wi-fi internet service that wasn't working (this was confirmed by the intenet service provider.) Such a shame for the sake of $10.

The rooms to the side can also be quite noisey with limited views.

Don't be fooled by the pictures, very few of these units have water views, in fact only the ones at the front of the complex that do (maybe 6), the majority look out into a car park or fence. Although all the photos show the place with water views, so it was disappointing to see that only a small few get a water view. The location is great and the place is very modern and tidy. We stayed in a one bedroom. The living area was very big (although the TV is a long way away and a little small for the size of room), very modern and the kitchen has everything you would expect to be self contained. Bathroom is a good size and the bedroom is nice, with a courtyard with tables and chairs, although there isn't much of an outlook. If your looking for a motel styled accommodation that is modern and tidy, then this a good option. I would have to say however there were some things that I don't think were up to standard. Small things like clipped plates, rubbish still in the bin from the previous person, DVD not working and a over eager cleaner, who on the day we left entered the room as we were loading the car, even though we were still within our time. Although the complex appears to be run by a hotel chain, it would appear that the manager lives on site. There is a spa with the complex but the hours are quite limited for a tourist. I had great expectations of this complex having seen the photos but I have to say I wouldn't probably stay here again.

This establishment, whilst being relatively new, somehow misses the mark for reasons that probably in isolation are not that serious but in conjunction with everything add up to a bit of a disappointment.

It is one bay around from the main town centre so it is quiet.

It is relatively new so still has the "fresh" look.

Like other reviewers note unless you have a very front room all other rooms have virtually no views at all other than into adjoining properties.

Our room was downstairs and had a small courtyard. Sitting out there was pleasant but this also is the area that other guests step outside to smoke. Whereas I appreciate that this is somewhat outside the control of the motel, the very design of the courtyards (open trellises etc) means the smell travels to virtually everyone.

There is nowhere to sit to eat. The unit had a small kitchen, but if it is raining (as it was for some of our stay) you cannot sit outside to eat and there is nowhere else.

Our room needed some repairs in the rooms. Not big stuff, but paying attention to details can make the difference between a happy guest and an unhappy one.

Car parking, whilst free is a little haphazard. The property is build at right angles to the road and is very narrow. Parking involves angle parking in front of your room which frankly, for a larger type car is quite worrying as the driveway that other cars pass by with means there is little room to get through. Whilst we were there a car hit another guest’s car.

Overall, not sure I would return there. There are a lot better properties in this area.

Staff are very friendly, accommodation is excellent and the view from the balcony is spectacular!!! I love to come back in another time!
