Great staff, they have done a fantastic job fixing up the rooms and pool area, all our needs were met and had a relaxing stay thankyou, recommend to all!!

We stayed here for 5 nights over New Year's Eve 2011/2012 in a outrageously expensive room at $140/night. We would have left but we were there with a group of friends and we could not find accomodation for all of us elsewhere during this busy time of the year.
The room was disgusting dirty , the shower was an absolut joke, the water pressure was so low that took around 45 min- 60 min to take a "quick" shower without washing my hair . The staff , starting with the manager/owner, was the most unprofessional, unfriendly, unhelpful, rude you can ever come across. The manager was wearing different name badges so she can hide from unhappy customers. Everything that we asked for the first answer you could hear was: "no" or "not possible".
In New Year's Eve the Manager was drinking alcohol while serving customers and she seemed intoxicated by mid night and became agressive with other customers.
Unbelievable!!
This was by far the worst experience we have ever had and we will never ever stay there again.
Run if you can!!!

One word, FILTHY.

Needn't go on, others have also expressed their horror.

Stayed for 1 night 5 Jan 2012, in campervan. Worst place I have ever stayed at. Health Hazard in my opinion. My husband resorted to holding his breath outside the mens' toilets until he'd finished, as the urinals stank so badly.

Also, there is only 1 kayak, which is available on first come first served basis, and only at high tide, so forget that!

The location doesn't make up for the total incompetence of management.

I will have nightmares for months.............

Wish I had some photos, but didn't want to stay on toilets for longer than necessary in case I caught something.

We were packed in liked sardines and had to share only three showers and three toilets offered to Women. The toilets needed to be cleaned as marks that were there when we arrived were there when we left!! (a decent clean twice a day would have solved this problem). Showers had mould growing in the grout, around soap containers and in the corners - one shower was badly leaking and nothing was done about it. The tiles were so slippery that I'm sure OSH would have a field day. The ceiling was covered in sand flies and water from the steam as there was little to no ventilation. The kitchen was dated, dirty and inadequate for the number of people camping on site. The only positive was the pool which looked clean and the view. Would never stay again and will advise others not to stay either.
