Just spent three days here and enjoyed every minute. Our premium suite was on the top floor (only 3 floors) and was spotless and comfortable, our only misgiving was that instead of a queen bed it should have been a king as in many other hotels of this caliber but then we are not small people and they have a fantastic choice of rooms so something for everyone depending on what you require.
The check in was friendly and efficient with clear directions for complementary parking and to the room.
There is a good restaurant called Milk & Honey that serves very good pizza along with other Itialian styled foods.
They have a house bar but as it was quiet when we visited we only had one drink there as nobody else was in but there are plenty of other bars in the area.
Will happily stay here again as we have done before a few years ago.
Bedroom was quite quiet and we had a good nights sleep.
Fully air conditioned and a separate unit in the bedroom.
Stayed in this hotel for about 3 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Had a room with a seaview, lovely modern, spacious with a lovely spa bath. Close to lovely restaurants, shops and on the beach for long walks. Can recommend it any time.
Stayed for a week in the new year - very clean hotel/self catering rooms.
Plenty of space and close to the beach. Milk and Honey Resturant that is adjoining is excellent.
Reception staff a bit on the flighty side but very friendly all the same.
Best place in Napier by a country mile!
We liked the fact that it is an apartment with separate living room with open-plan kitchen, bedroom and sunny verandah. The kitchen even has a small dish-washer! The decor and fittings are simple functional and well maintained. A few negatives though. The patio doors could be opened from the streets if you are on the ground floor and you leave the louvres open - a thoughtless design. There is no safe. And the gym... I think they meant it as a joke. However, easy access to the bay for a run makes up for it. There is only aircon in the living room, not in the bedroom where it is also needed. We also liked the daily unlimited WiFi available in the lounge and free parking.
