The staff are so friendly, the rooms are very breezy which is good for smelly feet!
Tv room is massive, free pool, smoking deck, your allowed to drink alcohol!
Would deffo go back

This was a very nice hostel to stay at. The location was great and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. The rooms and lounge were very comfortable and spacious.
The only problem was the bathroom - while showering the water goes all over the floor as there is nothing to stop it, so this makes the bathroom floor slippery and wet which is dangerous.
Also the dorm i was in was right next to the lounge and so i didnt get to sleep till quite late as people were playing on the pool table.
Overall a very nice and comfortable hostel to stay in.

3 mature girls (56, 70 & 74 years) stayed 1 week and were provided with all we required plus more. We were grateful to Doug and Julie who provided us and others with transport to and from the Mission concert all free of charge. Archies Bunker Backpackers is the next best thing to champagne at beer prices with fantastic facilities which are cleaned daily. Remember backpackers are frequented by people of all ages and cultures so be prepared to excercise "tolerance" . Thumbs up to Archies, we look forward to returning in the near future. Rock on Doug and Julie may 2010 be a very prosperous year for you both.
