Motel rooms on top floor wonderful views ..
Location is across to beach front and short walk to CBD..
Service was very helpful maybe a bit too intrusive at times and over familiar...my toiletries were moved everyday and placed on ledge above the toilet..I thought this rather funny , and a little odd as I would expect them to be left where I had placed them ..
The owner insisted on giving me a 5 minute run down on how the tv worked upon arrival ...I really wasn't at all interested and he ended up going away to ask someone else anyway.
After leaving I was rung to say I had left an item behind but was told ...and it's not undies...Eek
The lounge couch was an awfully uncomfortable upright queen Anne style as was the matching chairs...no chance of lying down or curling up on this..
Howevervthe bed is huge and very comfortable.
I don't think I would choose again...

We stayed at this top notch motel on our recent holiday in New Zealand and can only give top praise to this establishment,Llenis and John go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay extremely pleasant giving assistance even with things to do and the laundry(yes i did say laundry,thanks Llenis).The rooms are spacious and have all you require for a more than comfortable stay,especially the spa tub which just about makes it extra special.If you're looking for that special stay with the added bonus of the Pacific ocean just over the road look no further.Good luck John and Llenis you deserve it for all the hard work you put in to make this place delightful.

We booked this motel via the i-site in Napier, and so we arrived with very short notice. Check-in was quick and efficient. We had a top floor apartment for 2 nights, the apartment was spacious, very clean and had two terraces. I spent one evening outside just watching the world go by.
Note that there is a backpackers at the back and you are a bit on top of your neighbours, but this is no different from any other accommodation on Parade. We found this a very convenient location, walking distance to the town and helpful & friendly owners.

This is a nice place for a short stay in Napier. The motel is located across the street and athere is a playground between the road and the beach walk. So the "ocean view" is from some distance, and you will need to book the superior rooms on 1st or 2nd floor to get the view. Room we had (2 bedrooms suite) was nicely furnished, extrelemey spacious and very clean. Friendly staff. Parking somewhat cramped. Within a walking distance from historical art deco district and a few restaurants .
