What a find! A little gem of a b&b tucked in a leafy hillside just a short amble to the centre of Napier. We spent five nights here and loved every part of it. The hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were splendid. I loved Ruths homemade bread and jams. Our room was perfect and very clean. It was a bonus to have the free wifi too. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean was a real treat. As we were there for five nights, Ruth even did my washing for me!! We will certainly be staying here again when we return to Napier. This place was excellent value for money. Thank you Ruth.

“Perfect Napier B&B”
The Geen House onThe Hill is really handy for everything in downtown Napier and Ruth is very knowledgible and helpful about what to do and see in and about this charming city. You have to be a bit of a mountain goat to get there but it is well worth the climb and has a wonderful view from the breakfast patio.

“Everything a B&B should be”
Excellent one-night stay here in Napier.Ruth was very accommodating.Room was well appointed & homely.Great little personalisations.We were given all the local information by Ruth and previous guests who had left their own inside tips.Breakfast was very tasty and overall well worth a stay.

Charming B&B run by informative and well-organised couple - much thought has gone into catering for the guests. Well-positioned (close to centre of town) and easy to find.

“Helpful hostess”
The B&B is perfectly comfortable, the breakfast was good and location is very close to town; but the real plus was the helpfulness of the hostess. We needed to make changes to our onwards travel plans and she could not have been more helpful.
