What a great place to stay, its just perfect in every way , its very clean , and the host,s russell and denise , and all the staff are so lovely , nothing is to much trouble ,we stayed there twice on our trip around new zealand, in my oppioion this place is second to none 10/10. they make you feel at home , all the rooms are beautiful, give it a try you will not regret it , i promise, and you will love harvey there little dog .

The Shoreline is an OK choice for a short stay. Our 2 bedroom unit on the ground floor (only one bathroom) was clean and well cared for, quite roomy, and well equipped for four. There was a small patio facing the sidewalk and street, but street noise was not a problem, and privacy was adequate. The price was reasonable, and they waived the $10 charge for 2 hours of WiFi.

The Shoreline Motel has been the place that I always stay when travelling to napier. Great rooms, excellent service and a fantastic location on marine parade.

My buddy and I decided to drive back from Wellington to Auckland so we rented a car and thought we’d just take a couple of days and drive back. Ended up in Napier our first night with no reservation and found this nice little motel with a vacancy sign out front and so figured what the hey how bad can it be. For (I believe) about $116NZ we got a two bedroom apartment style room that while not the fanciest it was clean and warm and overlooked the bay. Also the nice lady behind the check in desk gave me extra cookies…chocolate chip short breads. It also happened to be the last room available so we got lucky on that account too but again a nice, decent place to lay your head for the night and of course free cookies
