My partner and I were only staying in Napier for one night as part of our road trip around the east of the North Island and arrived needing somewhere to stay. We had a Jasons accommodation book that told us that this place was relatively cheap but still near the centre of town. We showed up hoping for a vacancy and were pleased to find one. The owner was lovely and gave us a discounted price for the room. The place isn't fancy but it was fine for sleeping - it definitely is quiet. There is also a pool which I would have liked to gone in but it was a bit cold.

Considering this was a motel, it was more like a small bungalow. Peter and Ann made us most welcomed, a very friendly couple. We had a basket of fruit on arrival and a free newspaper every morning (not experienced very often in UK). Rooms were very well maintained, spacious with a good sized comfortable bed. A small heated swimming pool, which was greatly appreciated after touring during day. Walking distance to two large supermarkets but about 15-20 minute walk to town centre (we drove every time) Good value for money and would highly recommend this accommodation

very friendly hosts, although the motel is not modern or fancy it was extremely clean and close to town. we would definately stay again in preference to paying extra money for more luxurious accomodation.
