Hugh and Jane were so nice to us and their place is spotless and quiet, the perfect place to stay while exploring Napier and N. Havelock. We stayed in a studio and it had a tub and shower, a great firm bed, and plenty of hospitality. The kitchenette added options too. It is just steps away from the bay and the walking/biking paths and paragliding. Highly recommended.

The motor lodge is conveniently located near the beach and the beginning of the cycle way. It provides easy access to the Ahuriri port, cafes and recreational areas.

Jane and Hugh proved to be excellent and humorous hosts. They provided us with friendly and helpful information regarding local events and attractions.

I am fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to travel to the sunny Hawkes bay on a regular basis and have stayed at many motels there.My preferred accommodation is the Fairley Motor lodge as I find the rooms tidy and comfortable and the hosts Jane and Hugh friendly.It's location makes it perfect to go to the beach or walk around the estuary but not too far if you wish to try the local restuarants, bars or visit Napier cbd.
There have also been times when I have travelled to Napier with my family and we have chosen to stay at the Fairly because we know that we will have a stress free comfortable stay.

Another lovely visit to Napier and another lovely stay at Fairley. The owner and staff are very helpful. The units are being repainted (not that they were run down or anything). The units are spacious and confortable (only niggle would be the sofa in the lounge is a fold out and not that confortable to sit on - maybe another arm chair would be nice). The rooms are always very clean and tidy. Traffic noise is minimal and the location puts you about 3 mins drive (or 10 mins walk) from bars and cafes. Always plenty to do in Napier and the weather is normally sunny and warm.
