Ideal for our first night in NZ. John and David let us check in early after our long flight and sent us to devonport for lunch -- perfect excursion when you're tired and jet lagged. Also recommended a great restaurant for dinner on Parnell Street. Braemar is so convenient and they let us park our rental car for free. Only reservation was the claw-foot tub, which is probably great for baths but a little weird for a shower.

We stayed at Braemar our first night in Auckland and were immediately attracted to its quiet charm. David & John were wonderful hosts and the house proved cozy and accommodating. It was very close to many restaurants and shops.

This lovingly restored bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to stay in Auckland. It's across the street from Albert Park and the University of Auckland and a 10 minute walk to the downtown shops.

This B&B was just what we were looking for - it had character, was cosy and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Excellent location - 10 min walk to Queen St. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again (budget depending!)
