Stayed here for one night before flying from the North to the South Island. Great location, simple yet well stocked rooms, across the street from the Air Bus Public Transit to the airport. Would stay here again!

We are long term budget travelers with simple needs - clean and space. Our room (a double bed and single bed even though we only rented for 2) met both criteria. The room has carpet, which I find a bit weird in rooms, but it was fine. They replace hotels and soap everyday, which we found nice. Our room was not en-suite (I'm not sure if any are). We were right across from the women's bathrooms, which were kind of cold. The room has a sink in it, which is kind of nice for morning and evening clean up.

Breakfast was expensive, but the lady said I could get a coffee (for free!). The location is good on the main street, but it is a bit of a walk (15+? minutes) all the way to the harbor. The staff was friendly enough. The lounge area was nice and spacious.

The Kiwi Internation is centrally located in Queen Street Auckland. This is a budget accommodation, but do not be taken back by that. The rooms are well appointed with seperate ensuite, flat screen tv, tea / coffee, with room serviced daily. The restraunt has good variety of meals and well priced, with a licenced bar. There is bus service on Queen st. If you are going to the airport, use there taxi service, it is only $35 to the airport.

Stayed in a family room with four beds. Hotel got renovated just recently, so everything was very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, right on Queenstreet with convenient and free off street parking - hard to find in central Auckland.
