The Mercure Windsor is right in the hub of Auckland City.
If your looking for restaurants, clothes jewellery or girls this is the happening place.
The room was not huge. I thought it was just right,
Microwave hotplate and a big sink.
Bed was great fridge was big enough to put some extra beers in.
I paid $100 nz per night.
The second night I parked a car with the hotel valet and it cost me $35nz which was a bit steep but given the location I just walked out to the front of the hotel jumped in the car and drove away, so easy.
The Auckland Herald has plenty of girls in the personal section just look for ones in the CBD.
Show Girls is a strip Club about 150 meters away on Custom St, walk out of hotel turn right walk 30 meters to Custom St, turn right and walk about 120 meters, you can't miss it

I booked online and stayed at the Mercure Windsor on 21st February. The hotel is located in a convenient location in lower Queen Street, it's a quick walk to a local supermarket and to the Viaduct.
The hotel checkin was great and the front desk staff were lovely and most accommodating on the couple of occasions I required assistance from them, they could not be faulted and did a great job.
The room itself was average, I stayed on level 2 and the room was dark and there were light bulbs missing which made it even darker. The tv did not work upon arrival, but this was promptly resolved.
The bathroom was reasonably bright but had the worst view I think I could have had - right out to a block wall with air con units on top, it was not nice at all, but the bathroom was sufficient and fit for purpose.
I got this room for a very reasonable price -NZD $115:00 was a very good price and I was not in the room for a great deal of time, however, should I have paid more or had stayed more than over night, I would certainly have requested a change of room as it really was not that acceptable and quite honestly it was quite depressing due to the dark and dingy feel.
Overall though I felt that I probably got what I paid for so can't complain, the service was of a very high standard and location great. I would certainly stay in this propert again in the future but certainly would not stay in the equivalent room.

Very well located and with good price. The hotel is in the very center of town and the airport bus stops in front of it.
However, it was a little too noisy. We could hear some kind of party nearby all the night long.
