We stayed here on our way back from Sydney and wanted to have a night of luxury before we went home. We definitely felt a little bit ripped off which was a shame. The hotel itself was nice and the service was great. The room was lovely, e.g. the bed and things, but the hotel is very old and dated and needs a good update. The furniture in the room was trying to look old and quaint, but instead looked cheap and dated. The hallways reminded us of a hospital. Big long hallways with no plants, no pictures or anything. not my cup of tea to be honest. The bathroom was lovely. The food is an absolute rip off. $38 for a cooked breakfast are you freaking kidding me?. We will not stay here again. Also on the location thing. Its up an enormous hill. So if you are walking, take a drink bottle.

Hotel is nice. Has a nice park near by. Sky Center is within walking distance.

Well situated adjacent to Albert Park, and the University and only a 10 minute walk down the hill to the city core, this hotel caters to business, airline crews and the general traveller. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of their residence room that they offered us at our early check-in. It had full amenities including a kitchenette for those wishing to avoid pricy hotel breakfasts. Their concierge was very helpful with airport transfer arrangements. Good value for this Hyatt property. High speed WiFi for 24 hours was available a reasonable 10.00 NZD.
