Stayed recently as part of a large group that occupied several chalets. Some were very dated, others much more modern and stylish. No way to know what you are going to get.

The location is fabulous, but let down by the permanant stench of chip fat and fish scraps from the fish & chip shop right next door. Not pleasant in 40 degrees.

Do NOT consider staying here during a heatwave. While the rooms are airconditioned, the bedrooms are upstairs and FAR too hot to sleep in. Everyone ended up dragging mattresses downstairs and sleeping in the lounge.

Parking is provided, but the car parks are the smallest I've ever seen. Scrapes on the walls indicate that many travellers have lost their insurance excess!

Kitchens are reasonably well appointed, though one of the elements on the stove didn't work (this seemed to be a common complaint), and the fridge wouldn't shut if anything was in the door.

The layout of the chalets is downright strange. Double bed in the main bedroom, and bunks on the loft. Can't think what combination of visitors this would suit well.

On a recent trip to perth we stayed with our extended family.
The apartment was not cleaned....dirty microwave, sand on the floor and furniture, used bandaids on the floor ....the stove had 1 element that did not work and the 2nd day we were there the stove did not work at all, front door jammed every time ...overall the chalet as they call them was very very ran down...they need a lot of attention.
and the lady at the front desk was very very rude ...I dont think i have ever met such a rude lady.

Myself and a friend spent a few nights here relaxing. Great set up and we could've easily slept a few more in there as well. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower is also great. The beachfront location really makes this place. Also close to everything else you need in Cottesloe.

On a recent visit to perth I decided to stay at Cottesloe Beach. The Cottesloe Beach Chalets are in a great location. The room I booked was plain, and very TIRED! It was disappointing as these chalets could have so much going for them with abit of care and attention. The bathroom cupboards were falling apart and the spiral stairway was actually pulling away from the wall making it unstable. Luckily I am a fit lady, because lugging a suitcase up to the bedrooms on another floor via a wobbly spiral staircase was tough going.
Fresh Bathroom towels were provided each day and a roll of toilet paper when they felt like it. Beds werent made. The pool was clean but the surrounding area was dull and though tables and chairs were provided no sunlounges were ! Overall this Accomodation just feels neglected and uncared for but it is in an excellent area and Cottesloe Beach itself is magic!
