“"A Blast from the Past"”

I enjoyed this Motel. From Appearances its straight from the 70's, it is really neat and tidy, the staff where good, the room had all we needed. Comfortable beds and pillows. The location was great, free CAT buses only a few meters away, East Perth eateries around the conrner (easy walk), would use again. You are in the centre of a city but kinda of out of the way too - enjoyed it. We had a spa room (that was all that was available) and we were warned it was noisy as its next to the kitchen. You dont get a sleep in thats for sure, but the noise finished about 9.30ish at night - so next time I would ask for a different spot, but I was warned. This motel is really quirky and it works, we stay in Perth all the time and are on a budget - this is the best going for the price range. We have paid much more for a room and not gone away as satisfied. We will be back.....

Room Tip: Dont get the room (number 34) next to the kitchen

“Outstanding value for money, fantastic restaurant on site and lovely helpful staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

We have stayed there a number of times. Always greeted with a huge friendly welcome by all staff. Memorable food, always freshly prepared.have eaten at a number of restaurants in the area and cannot understand why this one is mostly overlooked. Accommodation is clean. Location fantastic and central to airport, subiaco, casino etc.

“Good, basic no frills accommodation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We stayed for one night as a family of 4, for $149 for the night. The room was clean enough, (they are never perfect in motel rooms we find!) the shower was good and it has the added bonus of car parking at your door should you have a vehicle with you. There is also a little outdoor area to sit at downstairs. Some things that were not in the room, such as a hairdryer, you could borrow from Reception. It is not CBD, and you may find it a bit lacking if you want somewhere to eat at night and don't want to pay for the resturant in the complex, which was not budget! It is however close to the CAT bus if you want to tour the city during the day. Service was just average, nothing special. On the down side, our room smelt like vomit, there was construction work on the building next door that started at 6am and they charged us for our own room as well as someone elses. They got the credit cards mixed up with someone elses they said(concerning) and did rectify it as soon as I contacted them about it. All in all, it was an affordable city option in an overpriced accommodation market in Perth and I would stay again for the price.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor if you don't want to cart your luggage up stairs!

“Thoughtfully appointed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

This is my favorite motel in Perth. It’s conveniently located close to the CBD, but does not have the hustle and bustle of an inner city. Motel has private, off-street parking, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with crockery, cutlery, tea towels, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, mini fridge, small dining table, etc. Hard to find a motel/hotel in Perth with such amenities included in the price of a standard room. Have stayed at this motel twice, and would gladly stay again.

“Nice Motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Stayed one niight at Baileys, found the staff very helpful and polite. My wife and myself have trouble climbing stairs so I asked reception if we could have a ground floor unit which he promptly gave us. The resturant attch to the motel had good Itakin food and the staff where very good and polite.
