straight up---avoid
worst hotel ever. dont want to waste my time on it.

You get what you pay for. I stayed a week and the room was comfortable and clean enough. Sure it could do with an update but it wasn't bad given the price. The tap leaked continuously and there was often the noise of water travelling through the plumbing. Odd that it does not have a restaurant and no breakfast, but there is a good cafe around the corner. Staff not the most freindliest, but did their jobs. Beds were excellent.

Don't stay here, no matter how cheap it seems. Old, dirty, unsafe wiring, ripped towels, indifferent staff and some weird food convention on level 9 that had a sign in the lift to say "do not interup" (spelling incorrect in a laminated sign - really!).
Stand out staff member was John. The rest couldn't care less.
Worst features: huge hand prints on the windows only evident when steamed up from shower; waterproof mattress protector uncomfortable, very old fittings, sticky surfaces, no comfortable chairs (one had a chair pad tied to the seat that was so thin (why bother), soap dispenser on the wall like a public toilet, mismatched glasses, only mirror was in the bathroom, hairdryer fixed so high on the wall that it was a stretch to use. Lift call buttons broken.....so many other things, i could write a novel.

i stayed in hotel for 7 days and it was great because it's location. Quite close to esplanade station and busport, or if you want to get CAT bus by free, just walk about 100m to catch the blue bus. it's so close to swan bell tower or you want to go to kings park and botanical garden, just take bus from st george tce.the environment was cozy. Just short walk to shopping center like hay street mall and murray street mal for shopping and food.if you need to go to perth station, not far, maybe just 1km. The hotel quite old, the room quite small,but never mind because of the price that i got from agoda. The staff is so-so...I didn't take breakfast because i'm moslem n i didn't know whether its ok or no. If your moslem, it's quiet easy to find halal food for kebab or malay food. Dont forget to eat at james street 5/123 Satay club. If you want to buy some souvenir, just go to barrack street after george teraace, near number 4 CAT bus stop, it's cheaper than another, even than fremantle esheed.
