“Wonderful. Wonderful High Tea !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

On Sunday I , along with my friends had the pleasure of experiencing High Tea at The Pan Pacific, Perth. What a wonderful experience it was. The staff were so attentive ensuring your every need was catered for. The food was exceptionally nice and there are some subtle differences to High Tea that I have had in other restaurants in Perth, very nice differences I might add. The table was set out very well and as soon as something was finished with it was removed.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing High tea at Burj Al Arabs in Dubai and on a number of occasions at Raffles in Singapore. In my opinion Pan Pacific are certainly in the same category as these famous Hotels for High Tea. I will have to stay at the Hotel as I have stayed there on a number of occasions when it was the Sheraton and then I will write a review for Trip Advisor too. Do try it you won't be dissapointed.

“A great place to stay for work or a holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012 via mobile

Stayed for 3 weeks and was very pleased overall. Lovely & helpful staff, a beautiful room with river views, nice ambience and close to everything Perth has to offer.

I would have been mortified if I was paying, but thankfully work was picking up the tab. Meals were fairly pricey at over $40 for a main. Buffet got boring after a few days although the quality was top notch. Great waiters and waitresses though!

Less than 1 load of laundry cost over $170, I recommend the nearby Jacks Wash House which pick up and deliver laundry and cost me $20 for the same amount of clothes.

That aside I would have to say this is one of the nicer places I have been lucky enough to stay. Lovely pool, decent gym and a clean room every night when I got home from work was a luxury.

I could not recommend the hotel more, as long as you can afford it.

Dear Fooman72
As a long stay guest I am delighted that we were able to deliver on our vision of creating positive memorable experiences- not an easy task over a 3 week stay, but, it does seem that the team have certainly pulled out all the stops and I will certainly pass on your compliments as they too do like to hear their efforts have contributed to an enjoyable stay. My thanks for your recommendation and I am pleased that you felt our hotel ranked as one of the nicest you have stayed in. We of course do look forward to welcoming you “home” again soon.
Kind regards
Grant

“Great hotel, nice staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed at a Club Suite and had breakfast in the lounge every morning, witch was very nice. The room was lovely and the bathroom was fantastic, very bright and clean!. The food in the Origins Restaurant was very good. Ask for a room as high up as possible, we stayed at the fifth floor and that was a little to low. No need for waiting to check out, just fill in the bill that is delivered to your room and there's a letterbox by the entrance to put it in. Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Stay as high up as possible, much better view.

Dear Mona A
Thank you for your review and I am pleased to note you enjoyed your stay and found the associates helpful. I also note you dined in Origins and found the new menu very good – our new Chef D’ Cuisine is doing wonders in the restaurant and receiving rave reviews for his food and of course the team for their service. Our express check out does work well and so am glad you took advantage of this facility. I do of course look forward to welcoming you back soon.

“Disappointing room, good service”

The room was very large, but looks nothing like the photos on the website. The bathroom was disgraceful - very much in need of a refurbishment. On the plus side, the staff was very amenable.

“Pricey for average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

person found this review helpful

The room was reasonably well appointed except for the bathroom which has hideous dark green tiles throughout. I made use of the in-dining breakfast which was good but quite pricey. Overall, the hotel is very centrally located and quite nicely decked out but at that price I think you'd expect a bit more. Also, having to queue for 15minutes at check-out didn't leave a positive lasting impression.

Dear GarethmT
My sincere thanks for posting your comments following your stay in January. I note that you were accommodated in one of our yet to be refurbished rooms but, you will be pleased to hear, is currently being addressed within our Strategic Asset Plan dealing with refurbishment. I note with concern as well the delay you experienced at check-out – we do have an express check-out facility which reduces the need to queue at all and is a service most of our guests take advantage of – my apologies of this was not explained to you during your stay with us. I do hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back in the not too distant future.
Regards
Grant
